About Us

Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Meghan—founder of Silly Good Skincare Co. and your new skincare bestie (the honest kind who tells you when your moisturizer is doing absolutely nothing).
I started Silly Good because I was tired of watching smart, capable women and men get duped by overpriced fluff and hollow promises. The beauty industry has spent decades making skincare feel intimidating, confusing, and exclusive—and I wanted to flip that upside down. I built this brand to empower people with products that actually work, paired with real education that makes it all make sense.
With a background as a firefighter(yes, I really went from disaster response to skincare—ask me about it sometime), I’ve always been obsessed with solving problems efficiently and providing service to others. When I realized how many people were wasting time, money, and shelf space on routines that didn’t deliver, I knew I had to do something.
So I got to work: blending medical-grade and natural ingredients, cutting out the nonsense, and creating high-performance skincare that’s radically effective, refreshingly honest, and just fun enough to make self-care feel like something you want to do, not something you should do.
Because great skin shouldn’t be complicated—it should be Silly Good.
Warmly,
Meghan McCallum, Professional Skin Nerd & Self-Care Rule Breaker

Why the Rhino?
At Silly Good Skin Care Co., the rhino isn’t just a quirky mascot—it’s our spirit animal (but with better skincare).
We chose the rhino because it’s bold, powerful, and gloriously unbothered. It doesn’t follow beauty trends or pretend to be delicate—but surprise: rhinos actually have some of the most high-maintenance skin in the animal kingdom.
Here’s the tea on rhino skin:
• Thick, but sensitive: Rhino skin can be up to 2 inches thick, but it’s incredibly sensitive to the sun, parasites, and environmental damage. Same, girl.
• Constant care required: Rhinos rely on mud baths and bird friends (like oxpeckers) to exfoliate, cleanse, and protect their skin—basically the original spa day.
• Prone to irritation: Despite their tough look, rhinos get skin infections and sunburns if not properly protected. That’s why their self-care rituals are non-negotiable.
Sound familiar? Just like us, rhinos need intentional care to stay healthy and protected—and they don’t have time for fluff.
The rhino represents everything Silly Good stands for:
Strength with sensitivity. Skincare with a purpose. No-nonsense routines that get the job done—beautifully.
So when you see our rhino, remember: tough doesn’t mean invincible. Even the fiercest among us deserve (and need) good skincare.
